The way Gillards fall today made news was ridiculous.
So fucking sick of media outlets in this country.I feel like a bad feminist because I laughed so hard I cried when I saw the footage of her falling. Shit. So funny.
I laughed really fucking hard also, because that shit is funny. However, there’s such a massive issue with what the media chooses to focus on and how it shows it. Today, we won a seat on the UN Security Council, which is such a big fucking deal, and it was largely due to the decisions and actions of Gillard. But, not only have a seen way more coverage of her falling over than of her negotiating a major international achievement for our country, all the coverage regarding the UN seat has been focussed on the cost of the campaign, not the achievement. Its like the media actively wants her to fail, and this biased journalism is unfair.
